Honourable IG Police Balochistan Hosts Heritage Lecture at Balochistan Police Headquarters, Quetta on subject: Mehrgarh The Iconic Heritage of Balochistan: New Prespectives
On the invitation of Honourable Abdul Khalique Sheikh, IG Police Balochisntan, who is a learned intellectual and a book-lover too with an impressive personality, the founder, Institute of Balochistan Studies, Mr. Ayub Baloch made a presentation to brilliant Senior Police Officers of Balochistan on February 21, 2024.
It was a comprehensive knowledge- sharing session characterised with keen interest, curiosity, full attentiveness followed by very intelligent questions.
I was truly honoured to have spoken to them while Honourable I.G Balochisntan chaired the session. His concluding remarks were indeed an intellectual insight on the subject that I would cherish for long.
To me it was an admirable way of engaging ‘intellectual content’ to the working of the Department leading to understanding Balochisntan scientifically through its heritage.
